The Penn State Alumni AssociationWhat’s been happening: Hi all! Sure has been a great time since I left Penn State in 1987. Got married in 1993 to Tari McCall. Received my MLA (that's Master of Landscape Architecture) from University of Pennsylvania, in 1995. Had Maggie Fairman, my first, in 1995. Worked for a few different firms in Philadelphia and Princeton. Moved to Overland Park, Kansas, with The Hillier Group, in 1997, to work on the new world headquarters for Sprint. Had my second, Jack Young, in 1998. Moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 2000, to work for Design Workshop. Fell in love with the west, but was pulled back east in 2002 by Kling Lindquist (now KlingStubbins). Been with KlingStubbins since 2002, as Associate and Senior Landscape Architect. Kids are older, believe I am wiser, and Penn State is still always on my mind. This past year made my first "guys only" trip back to State College for the Indiana game, complete with rented RV and Fraternity parties. Visited all the old haunts including some fun at the old Theta Chi house, generally had a great time with friends. Looking forward to many more "family" trips...kids have already said that Penn State will be their top choice! |
